Rohit is an entrepreneurial technologist, mentor and results-oriented visionary with a track record of delivering scalable technical solutions in tight deadline-driven environments for enterprise and consumer companies.
At Adchemy, Rohit led Engineering, Operations & Customer Service organizations. As Head of Engineering for Adchemy, he built a world class engineering team that delivered Adchemy’s industry leading solution. The team and the technology built was the foundation of a successful acquisition by Walmart Labs. Adchemy’s product was rapidly adopted by top Internet Retailers and set industry standards on performance, scale & response times. He brought to Adchemy engineering culture centered on technical excellence, cutting edge technologies and execution for business delivery. As a key member of the executive team, he drove business strategy and GTM.
As Head of Software Engineering for Flip Video, he led a team developing Flip’s video sharing and social networking ecosystem (FlipShare Desktop, iPhone, iPad, Android, Web) which enables Millions to share and connect through personal video. Rohit’s team also led technical development for FlipLive’s video sharing infrastructure. This broadcasting camera, described as “astonishing” by David Pogue of the NY Times, was days away from launching when Cisco decided to close Flip and focus on enterprise products.
Prior to Flip, Rohit architected and delivered WebEx's online meetings platform supporting millions of users.
Rohit holds a number of patents and started his career while still in college by founding a couple of startups and profitably selling them before moving to the US.
