Daniel Zelem is the founder at Zelco Technology Advisors.

Prior to that, Zelem was the CIO of Mercy College. Before Mercy College, he was the CTO of Johnson & Johnson. Preceding J&J, Zelem served as SVP, Chief of Business Technology at Medco Health Solutions, Inc., where he was responsible for IT strategy and ongoing operations of the company’s vast technology assets. Zelem held a critical role in Medco’s international growth including joint ventures and acquisitions. He was a key contributor and thought-leader in delivering game-changing strategies to provide a competitive advantage to Medco and its clients.

During his nearly 20-year career with Medco, Zelem oversaw the implementation of an industry leading enterprise information warehouse platform, the launch of medco.com – the world’s largest online pharmacy, the Enterprise Image Service platform which enables Medco’s nationwide network of pharmacies to electronically process millions of mail-order prescriptions each year, and Medco’s enterprise IT Strategy and the modernization of IT assets.
