About Jessica:
Jessica Hall is VP of Product Strategy and Design at 3Pillar Global, an Inc. 5000 developer of client-facing web and mobile applications, and co-author of “The Product Mindset: The Product Mindset: Succeed in the Digital Economy by Changing the Way Your Organization Thinks” (available Sept. 2019).
Previously, Jessica built the UX team at CEB, now Gartner, and led the creation of the Newseum’s interactive exhibits and websites. Her work has been recognized by the Web Marketing Association, American Association of Museums, The Webby Awards, Time, Graphic Design USA, Forbes, and The Washington Post. She holds a Masters in Design and Digital Media from the University of Edinburgh and a BA in Journalism from American University.
About Scott:
Scott Varho is the SVP of Product Development at 3Pillar. His passion lies in building cultures that sustain high performing teams optimized for return on investment for clients through a product mindset, craftsmanship, collaboration and technology.
Scott has spent close to 20 years working in or leading fast-paced delivery teams accountable for building products that support core business objectives. At Pearson Education (a Fortune 500 education services company), he served as Executive Product Manager for Identity and Access Management, serving business units responsible for over $3billion in annual revenue. As Vice President of Platform for EverFi, Scott led the initiative to merge the K12 and Higher Ed platforms, while simultaneously launching a new business model and accomplishing new levels of scale. Most recently, Scott was tapped by the CEO at Interfolio to organize the product, user experience, and engineering teams. He oversaw the rapid maturation of the team and business culture, a 3x increase in revenue, and played a significant role in the acquisition diligence and integration of the Data180 employees and technology.
Scott is a 2nd generation native of Southern California. He holds a BA from Amherst College and a Master’s in Political Economics from Palacký University in the Czech Republic. He used to speak Czech and German fluently, but now mostly struggles to keep up with his 2 children.
